The Lakers continue to roll. As of Friday they're 12-2 and currently on a five-game winning streak. LeBron James looks rejuvenated, recording triple doubles like it's nothing and making a serious case for MVP so far. But what's even more encouraging for the team is the improved play of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who's looked like a completely different player over the last few games.

The Thunder have looked as porous as we expected coming into the season, sporting a 5-9 record. They do, however, play hard every game, and are a solid 5-3 at home. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been a huge bright spot for the squad as the leap he's taken in his second year is very encouraging for the franchise's future.
