The Knicks are in for an interesting ride as they travel to the other side of the country Tuesday night for a star-studded Hollywood matchup at Staples Center with the Los Angeles Lakers.

How to Watch Lakers vs. Knicks

The game will tip off at 10:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on NBATV, as well as Spectrum Sports Network. It can also be streamed online via Reddit's NBA streams subreddit community.

The Knicks have won three of their last five games, with victories over Washington, Portland and Brooklyn, and are 6-8 after firing David Fizdale, who got off to a 4-18 start. RJ Barrett is averaging 13.7 points per game, while Marcus Morris -- who is doubtful for the clash against the Lakers -- and Julius Randle lead the team in scoring. Both hover around 20 points per game on the year.

The Lakers are still the best team in the West, but injuries are beginning to riddle what they hoped would be a breeze to the top of the conference. The Nuggets, Rockets and Clippers are all breathing down their necks.

They still need to take care of business in the East, but questionable statuses for Avery Bradley and Alex Caruso don't help in that regard. LeBron James had another triple-double in their most recent bout with Detroit, posting 21 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists to complement Anthony Davis' 24 points and 11 rebounds. The immense workloads for both though, will continue to be a question mark as the season wears on.
