Lakers Send Out Regrettable Tweet After Winning Meaningless Preseason Game Against the Warriors

After the acquisition of Anthony Davis, the Los Angeles Lakers once again have championship aspirations. The duo of The Brow and LeBron James should utterly terrify the majority of teams across the NBA, and we honestly can't wait for the new season to start so they can showcase their chemistry.

What the bulk of basketball fans don't care for (at all), however, is the Association's slate of preseason games. The results are taken with a grain of salt and they, in hindsight, are really deployed for regular starters to get into game-shape.

The Lakers apparently aren't aware of this concept, as the team's official Twitter account sent out an outlandish post after they defeated the Warriors on Saturday night.

Yikes.

This post wouldn't be as regrettable, key word "as", if it didn't take a dig at Golden State, the team that's made FIVE straight Finals' appearances and has won three of them. Why poke the bear after a glorified scrimmage?

One thing is for certain, and it's that the Lakers will absolutely be put on blast for this tweet if their team fails to live up to their lofty expectations this year.

LBJ and AD already have a significant target on their backs this season and their social media team did anything but relieve that burden on Saturday night. There was simply no need for them to display this kind of arrogance.
