Two 1-2 squads in the LA Wildcats and the New York Guardians face off in a prime XFL matchup on Saturday.

Saturday's game kicks off at 2:00 p.m. ET at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The game can be watched on ABC and streamed on the Reddit football streaming community.

At third place in the XFL West, the Wildcats have one of the superior defenses in the entire league. The team accumulated four total interceptions in their game last week against the DC Defenders, including two from former NC State corner Mike Stevens.
On offense, former NFL journeyman and University of San Diego quarterback Josh Johnson anchors the offense and is backed by former Carolina Panther and UNC Tar Heel Elijah Wood at running back.
On the opposite side, the Guardians, typically led by former Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin, will have a new QB under center this week, as McGloin is out with a thorax injury for Saturday's game.

The Guardians will have to put former Packers, CFL and AAF quarterback Marquise Williams in there while former Wyoming and Bears wide receiver Tanner Gentry makes his XFL debut.
A matchup between the Wildcats, who are hot and coming off a game they won by 30 points, and the Guardians, who are injured and inexperienced, should favor LA despite New York's home field advantage.
