Kobbie Mainoo gets his first call up for England senior duty
The Manchester United midfielder has been brilliant this season
It was only a matter of time before this happened. Despite being a teenager, Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has been absolutely unreal for the team this season. In the FA Cup win over Liverpool, the youngster was sensational.
His play this campaign has clearly caught the attention of England manager Gareth Southgate. With the EUROS around the corner, Mainoo has an excellent shot of making the team. With the international break here too, Mainoo has received his first call up to the English side.
So, so deserved.

This has to be an exciting moment for Mainoo. After a strong showing against Manchester City, he followed that up with his outstanding performances against Everton and Liverpool. Now, we'll see what he'll be able to do with an England jersey over his back.
