The New York Knicks have a 14% chance of landing the No. 1 overall pick in tonight's NBA Draft Lottery. However, their future selection may not even play for the team.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the Knicks will shift their focus to a trade for New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis, for which a package of Zion Williamson and Kevin Knox could get the deal done.

If Davis were to end up in New York, his presence would attract fellow superstars like Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in free agency. Just like that, the Knicks could become contenders again after what's been a putrid five years for the franchise.

Whether Knicks fans like it or not, the good news is that this team will be getting a monstrous upgrade if they land the No. 1 overall pick. If they trade for Davis, they'll have a superstar piece to build around before free agency comes. If they keep Zion, they would have one of the best young players to entire the NBA in quite some time.

Nonetheless, expect the Knicks to look completely different next season thanks to the addition of a few big names. NBA fans will be waiting to see exactly who they are come summertime.
