Khalil Mack Reportedly Went to Great Lengths Not to Give Kids Candy on Halloween

The Chicago Bears have followed up last season's 12-4 performance with an absolute dud through nine weeks in 2019. Matt Nagy's side has lost four straight contests and now sit at the bottom of the NFC North at 3-5.

Well, that skid is apparently beginning to take its toll on his players, as Khalil Mack reportedly hired a freaking security guard to greet trick-or-treaters outside of his house on Halloween to tell them that he will not be giving out candy to kids.

Come on, man.

Mack could have at least given a few Kit Kat bars to the security guard to give out to the treaters. Heck, even a few bags of chips would have done the trick. Mack's antics are almost as bad as handing out fruit on Halloween.

We're not sure if there are any more candidates, but this display of crudeness should have the superstar defender labeled the Ebenezer Scrooge of Halloween.

After he was traded from Oakland to Chicago in 2018, Mack signed a six-year, $141 million contract extension in 2018, which includes $90 million in guarantees.

It stands as the richest contract ever for a defensive player in the history of the NFL. Rather than use some of that money to buy some Skittles and Snickers, Mack barbarically opted to pay a security guard to tell kids to get lost on one of their favorite days of the year.

We can't be sure, but we wouldn't be surprised if the three-time All-Pro lost a hefty number of fans in the aftermath of this news.
