Kentucky Will Never Play at Indiana Ever Again and Hoosiers Fans Need to Get a Grip
By Jerry Trotta

It would appear that Indiana Hoosiers fans are still romanticizing the team's upset over the then-No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats back in 2011. Of course, Christian Watford famously drilled a 3-pointer as time expired to give Indiana a 73-72 win at Assembly Hall.
The Hoosiers were also victorious over Kentucky in their last matchup in the NCAA Tournament in 2016, but that's besides the point. The fact of the matter is that Indiana has been thoroughly outclassed by the Wildcats throughout their rivalry.
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, a loud Hoosiers supporter, recently asked Kentucky head coach John Calipari to renew the home-and-home series, and we're officially fed up with this agenda.

Calipari recommends game at Dallas’ American Airlines Center, Cuban says he’s interested.
Possibility of a return to Bloomington?
“Without fans, I’m in.”
Kentucky is never going to play at Assembly Hall again, and Indiana fans need to get that through their heads. Just because they represent two of college basketball's most iconic programs doesn't mean they need to play a home-and-home series.
The Hoosiers are no longer on the Wildcats' level. In fact, they hold a lousy 5-15 record against the SEC powerhouse since the 1994 season.
The occasional upset doesn't prove that rebooting the rivalry would be at all competitive.
IU has only been to 3 Elite 8’s and 1 Final 4 over the last 32 years. Just to put it in perspective, UK has been to 16 Elite 8s and 8 Final 4s since ‘92.

Why do we care to play them?Although, it would be fun to beat them in Dallas.
Since ‘94-95 season, UK is 15-5 against IU.
And, it's worth noting: do you remember how Wildcats fans were treated the last time they traveled to Bloomington?
As evidenced by Calipari's comments, the behavior of Indiana's vulgar student section has ruined any chance of Kentucky returning to Bloomington. That's been the case for a few years now, and it's not going to change.
Say it louder for the people in the back!
