This past Tuesday was a day that most Kentucky Wildcats fans would like to forget, as the top-ranked basketball team was upset by the unranked Evansville Purple Aces.

The Wildcats hoops squad under head coach John Calipari played dreadfully, as they shot just 37% from the field and 23.5% from 3-point land.

But could some more help be on the way? On Thursday, Kentucky wide receiver Lynn Bowden Jr. sent out a tweet to Coach Calipari, saying he misses playing basketball.

We'd love to think so, but there's just no way it comes to fruition. There'd probably be NCAA violations all over the place.

Besides, Bowden is in the midst of his junior season. Not to mention, he's a finalist for the Paul Hornung award, which is given to the most versatile athlete in college football.

Through nine games, Bowden has caught 30 passes for 348 yards and one touchdown, while rushing for 712 yards and four scores on 101 attempts. Oh, and he's played a bit of quarterback as well, throwing for 213 yards and one touchdown on the year.

Just imagine that type of athleticism on the floor at Rupp Arena...
