It took him this long?

Yup, not during his seven-year tenure on the Spurs, nor during his one season on the Raptors was he able to get the job done. All it took was a little more than three months in L.A. for Kawhi to record triple-double No. 1.
A humble Leonard made it clear he wasn't worried about it taking this long. He's going to keep balling out and do what it takes to help the other around him.
"My goal isn't to come out and get triple-doubles or get stats. I'm a player that wants to win."

The two-time Defensive Player of the Year has blossomed into a superstar and winning is his top priority every single night.
With a heavily-injured Clippers team, Leonard is going to need more showings like this one if L.A. wishes to steal the top seed in the Western Conference from the Lakers.
