Kansas City Reportedly a Potential Host for 2023 NFL Draft
By Jerry Trotta

Several reports Wednesday are suggesting that Cleveland will soon be named as the city to host the 2021 NFL Draft. Though nothing has yet been confirmed, it would appear, however, that the NFL is actually closer to awarding the host for 2023 than it is for 2022.
According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the NFL's owners will discuss handing the '23 draft to Kansas City during Wednesday's league meetings.

This would be a huge win for KC, whose celebrated Arrowhead faithful would love nothing more than to storm the draft in waves and break attendance records all over the place.
Along with Denver and Cleveland, Kansas City is one of three finalists reportedly being considered to host either the 2021 or 2023 drafts. We're not quite sure why the league would lock in the 2023 host prior to the previous year's, but perhaps its fair to assume that no other city has come forward with a sufficiently attractive proposal.
Per Pro Football Talk, Denver, Detroit, Green Bay, Minnesota and Houston are also in contention to accommodate the now-colossal annual event in the near future.

Next year’s draft will be in Vegas. There isn’t a bid that the NFL is ready to go forward with for 2022 yet.
Stay tuned for updates throughout the day, as a winner for 2021 and 2023 could very well be announced upon the meeting's conclusion.
