VIDEO: Julian Edelman Did Not Look Good During Drills at Patriots Practice

New England Patriots wide reciever Julian Edelman still appears to be laboring after battling various injuries all season. Edelman played in just 62% of the Patriots' offensive snaps in their 34-13 victory over the Bengals, bringing in just two catches for nine yards. He was limited in the game due to a leg tendon injury. At practice on Wednesday, Edelman was spotted putting in work, but he looked far from 100% healthy.

For every drill he ran, it looked as if Edelman was going at 25% speed. He wasn't making sharp cuts and was rather nonchalant in all of his movements. That certainly doesn't bode well for his availability on Saturday against the Bills.

In 2019, Edelman, once again, was Tom Brady's favorite target, recording 92 catches for 1,019 yards and six touchdowns.

Mike Giardi of NFL Network stated that Edelman "did damage to the tendon in his left knee" in their matchup with Kansas City in Week 14.

Hopefully the injury isn't too serious, though based on his movements at Wednesday's practice, it's going to take a quick turnaround in order for the 33-year-old to be in good enough condition to suit up Saturday.

With Edelman's status up in the air for next week's clash, Brady may find himself throwing to an arsenal of newer faces, including the likes of Mohamed Sanu, N'Keal Harry, and Jakobi Myers.
