Patriots fans finally get something to cheer about, something that hasn't been said all offseason. After being relatively quiet during free agency and the draft, the Patriots come head into the 2020 season without Tom Brady for the first time since 1999, which opens the door for Jarrett Stidham.

Stidham will look to bust through the door and take control of New England's quarterback room, and it seems like he's trying to do just that. The 2019 fourth-round pick has been working daily to create chemistry with Julian Edelman.

This is amazing news if you're a Patriots fan because the only way New England will have success with Stidham at the helm is if he creates a connection with the Kent State product. Even though the team's offense struggled at times in 2019, the college quarterback turned receiver had his best season, accumulating over 1,100 yards, 100 catches, and six touchdowns.

These workouts between the players are the first steps towards a lethal connection in 2020, and that's something fans should be ecstatic for.
