Who could forget the legend of John Scott.

During his 10-year NHL career, we saw him throw countless punches, score the occasional goal, and even captained an All-Star team in what would be his final year. However, none of that compares to a new story that emerged from Scott's time with the Buffalo Sabres.

He got a jock in his face from Rasmus Ristolainen!! That's an aggressive move from a newbie. You can listen to the podcast excerpt here.

Scott spent two years with the Sabres from 2012 to 2014. During that time, Ristolainen, the Finnish defenseman and 2013 first-round draft pick, was playing in his first season. From this story, it doesn't seem like the two exactly hit it off during that 2013-2014 campaign.

Imagine, as a rookie, getting choked out by a 6-foot-8 behemoth like Scott. We can all agree that sounds absolutely terrifying.

But how can you blame an NHL player for retaliating in an incident like this? It just so happens it went a bit too far, but it's hilarious when looking back on it for sure.

Scott's been out of the league for three years now, yet the insane stories just seem to keep on coming.
