Joe Maddon's Compliment for Dylan Bundy's New Mustache is Weirdly Sexual

The Los Angeles Angels finally tried to shake up their laughable pitching staff by adding the likes of Julio Teheran and Dylan Bundy in Joe Maddon's first offseason as manager.

Both of those guys are far from sure things, and could use a fresh start out west, but we didn't expect said start to include whatever it is Bundy has done to his upper lip.

Maddon remarked this week that he is a huge fan of the latter's new facial hair, although his comment was phrased in a really weird fashion.

Uh...I guess that means he likes it?

Bundy, a former top prospect with the Baltimore Orioles, has struggled to keep the ball in the yard over the last two seasons. In 2018 and 2019, he pitched to a 5.13 ERA while giving up 70 home runs in 61 starts. Having said that, his stuff is still electric on any given day, and the Angels are banking on a renaissance.

Bundy will make his Angels debut on Tuesday when the LAA take on the Cincinnati Reds.

During these tough last two seasons in Baltimore, Bundy was sporting a clean-shaven look. Maybe the revamped style can help Bundy put that chapter of his career in the past, as he tries to put his big league tenure back together with the Angels.
