Jimmy Johnson Says Jerry Jones Hasn't Spoken to Him at All Following Hall of Fame News
By Jerry Trotta

In a brilliant surprise ceremony, Jimmy Johnson discovered that he was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame while on live television. The former Dallas Cowboys head coach won two Super Bowls with the franchise and constructed the roster that hoisted a third.
Peculiarly, Johnson will be inducted in Canton before being named into the Cowboys' ring of honor, something that has only fueled further questions regarding his supposedly strained relationship with owner Jerry Jones.
Well, according to Johnson himself, Dallas' owner has yet to personally reach out and congratulate him on receiving the NFL's highest honor.
Jerry Jones issued a congratulatory statement when it was announced that Jimmy Johnson would be inducted into the HOF. Has the Cowboys owner personally congratulated Johnson or talked to him about the club’s Ring of Honor?

“No,” Johnson said. “I haven’t heard anything.”
That certainly won't bring an end to questions concerning Jones' perplexing agenda against Johnson. Issuing a statement is the polar opposite of an authentic gesture. The fact that Jerry hasn't reached out to the man responsible for his franchise hoisting THREE Lombardi Trophies is mystifying to say the least.
...and Jerry Jones still won't let Jimmy Johnson anywhere near his. https://t.co/0cmGvWNCiC

It's one thing to ostracize him from the organization's exalted ring of honor. To also play the petty card as it pertains to refusing to salute Johnson is a level of petulance we didn't think Jones was capable of stooping to, and that speaks volumes considering his track record.
