Raise your hand if you thought Jim Harbaugh was going to make the leap to the NFL. Put your hand back down, liar.

The embattled Michigan head coach has been in charge in Ann Arbor after being unceremoniously ousted as head man of the San Francisco 49ers. Amid rumors that he could return to the professional level, Harbaugh refuted those reports, saying he is more than happy at Michigan.

Harbaugh proved he can coach in the pros when he and Colin Kaepernick made it to a Super Bowl. However, whatever positive momentum and goodwill he had when he took the Wolverines job has been sucked out following a few disappointing seasons in a row.

Harbaugh has gone 43-16 in 4.5 seasons at Michigan. While those numbers look impressive, they are a massive disappointment when put in context.

He has a 1-3 bowl record, has yet to beat Ohio State, has just one win against a Top 10 team, and no wins as an underdog. Those numbers could get even worse when he welcomes Ian Book and Notre Dame to The Big House.

If any organization is clamoring for Harbaugh after fizzling out at his alma mater, they need to do some serious rethinking. Harbaugh has let everyone know he is staying home and has no plans of leaving soon.
