Jets WR Robby Anderson Fuels Trade Rumor With Latest Tweet
By Jerry Trotta

With the 2019 NFL trade deadline fast approaching, there figures to be an outpouring of activity and transactions leading up to Oct. 29.
The New York Jets are one team to keep in mind as they are treading dangerously close to the cellar of the AFC. Therefore, the organization could be persuaded to offload assets that don't necessarily fit into their future plans.
A player that entered the rumor rill on Friday is wideout Robby Anderson, who could very well be on his way out of East Rutherford before too long. The Temple product even went out of his way to fuel the buzz with an ambiguous tweet that featured one lone emoji.

Adam Gase probably doesn't fancy the thought of depriving quarterback Sam Darnold, still just 22-years-old, of talented offensive weapons to throw the pigskin too.
However, the Jets are 1-5 with no chance at sniffing a postseason berth. Why not sell a few veterans to compensate for young assets, cap space, or future draft picks.

GM Joe Douglas is probably aware that he won't get much of a return for Anderson, but he'll likely be more inclined to move the 26-year-old pass catcher after his tweet on Friday night.
