Jets Reportedly May Trade Le'Veon Bell and Jamal Adams in Offseason Because the Franchise is a Joke

Prior to the 2019 NFL trade deadline, the New York Jets were reportedly fielding calls from teams interested in acquiring Le'Veon Bell and Jamal Adams. Both superstar players might be back on the trading block this offseason.

Bell and Adams could potentially be available after the 2019 season officially concludes, according to NFL Insider Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.

There will certainly be interest in these two if the Jets truly want to part ways with them. Adams has quickly risen to become one of the best young safeties in the game, and although Bell has not eclipsed the 100-yard mark as a rusher this season, he's still a great back who would likely be more productive under a coach who is not Adam Gase.

Why would New York be willing to give up on two of their best players? We don't know, but it seems par for the course.

The Jets might be doing Bell and Adams a favor by trading them away, but it's hard to imagine any deal that would make them a better team considering they already weren't getting offers they were pleased with before the trade deadline.
