Al Davis might have died in 2011, but his spirit is alive and kicking in the Oakland Raiders front office.

Jon Gruden has taken on a multitude of controversial players as Raiders head coach, and former Browns and Packers safety Jermaine Whitehead could be the latest. Whitehead, who was cut by the Browns after threatening to kill some disgruntled fans on Twitter, earned himself a workout with the Raiders.

Would you expect anything less from the team that currently employs Vontaze Burfict, the dirtiest player in the league, and Richie Incognito, who threatened to shoot up a funeral home?

Throw in starting corner Daryl Worley, who was signed by Oakland after an altercation with a police officer and subsequent arrest got him kicked out of Philadelphia, and that Raiders locker room is the definition of explosive.

Whitehead has 41 tackles in eight starts this season, but anyone who watched Browns games could see that he's severely lacking in his ability to cover ground in deep zone coverage.

Gruden has the Raiders reveling in their rebel image for the first time since Davis passed away. However, there is a line to be drawn, and literally threatening fans is over it by quite a distance.
