No one is quite sure what is going on in Dallas. Owner Jerry Jones has not yet made a decision on the future of Jason Garrett, whose contract is up. A Tuesday meeting was supposed to result in a decision one way or the other, yet nothing came to light.

Well, it looks like Jones is still deciding, and now it appears the two are set for a third meeting. Someone calm down Skip Bayless before he explodes.

Jones has not hid the fact he views Garrett like a son. Garrett has won two playoff games since he took over full-time in 2011 and his team has never advanced beyond the Divisional round of the playoffs.

He is becoming the new Jeff Fisher with yet another 8-8 season with a team stacked with talent.

The news of a third meeting is a bad sign for fans who want a new coach in Dallas. Is Jones asking Garrett for advice on the situation?

The whole process has been bizarre, and the fact that Garrett remains a member of the Cowboys will surely have a large part of the fan base enraged.
