New England Patriots fans have enjoyed a strong offseason for the team, as they've been busy left and right signing new players. Well, the team is also bringing back a veteran speedster in 2021 as well.

On Wednesday, it's being reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter and Jeremy Fowler that Bill Belichick has re-signed running back James White. You know New England supporters love seeing this.

Per Schefter, White's deal with New England will be one year and for $2.5 million. The 5-10, 205-pounder just wrapped up his seventh season with the Patriots. In 2020, he caught 49 balls for 375 yards and a touchdown, while adding 121 yards rushing and two more scores.

White is known for being a pass-catching back, helping open up the offense for the team. Now, he's all set to return next fall and will be ready to try and help the Patriots get back to the postseason. White has won three Super Bowls with New England.
