James Rodriguez headed back to La Liga after strong Copa America
The veteran playmaker got the deal he wanted.
Colombian winger James Rodriguez was no question the most impressive player from the 2024 Copa America. While Colombia fell short to Argentina in the final, Rodriguez was brilliant and he opened plenty of eyes around the world.
This includes Spain. It has been announced that Rodriguez, who was looking for a new club, has signed with Rayo Vallecano. After his glory days with Real Madrid, he's now headed back to the Spanish capital:
This is an exciting move for Rodriguez, as some analysts had expected his European days to come to a close. However, after he looked so amazing this summer, it's not a surprise that he's back in Spain and ready to make noise in La Liga. Few can argue he deserves this chance.
