Jameis Winston Just Revealed His Eyesight Was Way Worse Than We Thought

The fact that Jameis Winston led the league in passing with 5,109 yards despite turning the ball over as frequently as he did is a ridiculous statistic -- doing so despite clearly needing LASIK is a minor miracle.

Jameis signed a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints to back up Drew Brees for a season. In a conference call with media, Jameis claims that his offseason LASIK surgery has helped him see license plates and street signs that he couldn't make out before. He also added that his depth perception is markedly improved from last year.

Winston threw 30 interceptions in 2019, and a large percentage of them were on some incredibly puzzling decisions that left Bucs fans shaking their heads in disbelief.

Hopefully learning under a player like Drew Brees who has made a career out of avoiding turnovers can help coach Winston out of some of those bad habits.

If Winston threw for 5,000 yards with only 50 percent of his vision, imagine what he can do now that he can actually see the defense.
