The Los Angeles Rams, should they somehow jump through all the financial hoops required, could have a nasty defense on their hands, with cornerback Jalen Ramsey at the helm.

Ramsey, who claims that he gave up a Week 1 touchdown against the Chiefs, is setting a pretty difficult personal goal for himself, as he doesn't expect to give up a single touchdown in 2020.

Ramsey had 50 tackles and one interception in 11 games with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Rams in 2019. While he hasn't forced a ton of turnovers of late, it's hard to intercept the ball when quarterbacks don't even look your way.

It hasn't always been smooth sailing for Ramsey ever since he and the Jaguars made it to the AFC Championship game in 2017, but his reputation as one of the league's few shutdown corners still holds true.

The likes of Stephon Gilmore, Marcus Peters, and Tre'Davious White turning into stars has overshadowed Ramsey's skill to a degree, but he remains one of the best cornerbacks in all of football. If he can improve on his 2020, a lackluster Rams defense could get the kick in the butt they need to get back in the playoffs.
