Jalen Ramsey, who once pulled up to training camp in Jacksonville in a Brinks truck, is suddenly not as insistent that he gets paid as soon as possible.

The former Jaguars corner, who will make his debut for the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday against Julio Jones and the Atlanta Falcons, has given the Rams his word that he will not hold out if they do not reach a deal on a new contract this offseason.

However, Ramsey did admit that "all bets are off" if the team uses the franchise tag on him.

Ramsey will make $13 million next season after the Jaguars picked up his fifth-year option. He will be an unrestricted free agent in 2021.

The cash-strapped Rams, already paying out lofty sums to Aaron Donald, Todd Gurley and Jared Goff, could find themselves priced out of Ramsey's range, but Les Snead has shown he'll move heaven and earth to sign a player of Ramsey's caliber.

He hasn't even played a game in LA yet, and Ramsey already seams happier than he did under Tom Coughlin in Jacksonville.
