Jalen Hurts Even Talks Like Nick Saban and That's a Great Sign for Oklahoma
By Kevin Aquino

It looks like Jalen Hurts is taking more than Nick Saban's advice and coaching with him to Oklahoma -- he's taking his former coach's phrases too.
After winning the NCAA National Championship together back in 2018, Hurts and Saban parted ways when the former announced he would be transferring to Oklahoma for his senior season.

Saban infamously claimed that the media was feeding his team "rat poison" in 2017 by praising Alabama and telling its players how good they were, though the media's praises were rooted in truth, given Alabama's title win that season.
The 21-year-old QB made history in his first game as a Sooner, crushing Baker Mayfield's single-game yardage record (396) with 493 yards against Houston over the weekend.

What's more, Hurts made his presence as a leader known in a pregame huddle prior to his dynamite performance. By the looks of things, Hurts seems ready to give Oklahoma an unforgettable ride during his last year of eligibility.
