We Did Not Need to See This Photo of Gardner Minshew Getting His NFL Draft Call Shirtless and in Jorts

Nobody needed to see Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew dressed like this in his backyard during the 2019 NFL Draft.

Gardner Minshew is one of a kind, isn't he? Well, no, he technically isn't, as he's legally "Gardner Flint Minshew II," making him nominally two of a kind. Of course, that shouldn't downplay his status as an iconoclast of manly style when it comes to the modern era of NFL quarterbacks.

And we're not just talking about that trash 'stache -- we're pointing directly at what the dude was wearing (or not wearing) when he got the call from the Jaguars one year ago with news that he was about to be their sixth-round NFL Draft pick one year ago.

Why did you think we wanted or needed to see that as part of an ostensibly inspirational tweet about following your dreams? This is not dreamy. Jorts are not dreamy. This is actually more of a nightmare, especially given that it involves the city Jacksonville.

If you know, you know.

Minshew was an instant fan favorite in Freakville after taking the reins from Nick Foles and acquitting himself well, finishing the 2019 campaign with 21 touchdowns compared to just six interceptions. That might earn him a QB rating of 91.2, but his outfit rating is far, far lower.

Way to ruin it, Florida Man.
