J.D. Martinez really is playing like one of the best guys in MLB. The man can't stop belting dingers and recording big hits for the Boston Red Sox. On Thursday night, Martinez let us know once again that he's an AL MVP candidate.

With the Red Sox trailing Toronto 7-6 in the top of the 9th, the club was down to their last out. With a runner on, Martinez was at the dish and belted the game-winning 2-run homer. Boom.

On the year, Martinez is now hitting .331, with 12 homers and 37 RBI. The man is no question among the favorites to win MVP and for good reason.
