If you don't know the name Jake Hilmer, you better start because the teenager is a HOT commodity in the high school baseball ranks.

The North Linn High School (Iowa) star literally does it all for his club: whether it's throwing no-hitters, making countless web gems at shortstop, or delivering clutch hit after clutch it, Hilmer always seems to show up when it matters most.

However, the young star recently managed to become one of baseball's most accomplished high schoolers of all-time. Per the National Federation of High School Associations (NFHSA), Hilmer now has more hits (289) and runs scored (296) than any other high-schooler that has stepped foot on a diamond.

The North Linn senior has been a STUD throughout his career, recording 70 hits in eighth grade, another 64 as a freshman, 73 as a sophomore, and 69 in his third-year of HS.

He reached 83 base knocks for the 2019 campaign during Monday's win over West Branch, going 2-for-3 while scoring two runs and plating another.

What makes the feat all the more impressive is that Hilmer has actually compiled 359 hits over his HS career. However, the NFHSA doesn't account for eighth-grade numbers.

For the state of Iowa, on the other hand, Hilmer holds the record for hits, stolen bases, doubles, and, you guessed it -- runs scored.

Jake Hilmer, ladies and gents. REMEMBER THE NAME.
