Indians Lineup

Francisco Lindor will lead off for the Tribe, followed by Oscar Mercado and Carlos Santana. Both Lindor and Mercado parked balls in the bleachers against the Yankees on Sunday, and will look to do the same against the other New York team. Yasiel Puig bats cleanup, followed by José Ramirez. JoRam has three homers in his past three games, and will look to add to his season tally of 20.

All-Star MVP Shane Bieber opens things up for the Indians in the first game of the series. He is 12-5 with a 3.27 ERA and third in the AL with 162.1 innings pitched. He's fanned an even 200 batters on the year, logging an impressive 11.1 K/9.

Mets Lineup

Amed Rosario will get things going for the Mets, followed by Joe Panik and rookie sensation Pete Alonso. Polar Pete has two homers and 10 RBI in his past four games, and now owns the NL rookie home run record with 40. Michael Conforto hits cleanup, followed by Wilson Ramos and J.D. Davis.

Steven Matz starts for the Mets and is 7-7 with a 4.33 ERA this season. He is 5-0 with a 2.14 ERA during 11 home outings in 2019. Matz has had mixed results over his past five starts, surrendering 10 runs on 26 hits with 29 strikeouts across 31.1 innings, including a complete game shutout against the Pirates in late July.
