The man simply known as Ichiro was already an accomplished baseball player by the time he joined the Seattle Mariners in 2001. He was about as consistent a hitter as one can be the very second he departed Japan and the Orix Blue Wave for US soil, and also showed off insane arm strength in the outfield. Accuracy was another skill he possessed, of course, and a video shared by the Mariners on Sunday showed off just how deadly Ichiro's arm was in right field.

This is some otherworldly accuracy. He is drilling bat handles and making it look easy. Hitting one would be impressive. Not missing a single throw almost makes this video seem fake.

Ichiro also spent time with the New York Yankees and Miami Marlins before rejoining the Mariners to finish his career in 2019 at the age of 45. He showed up in 2001, and immediately won the AL MVP and Rookie of the Year awards. Ichiro was a legend, and his insane arm accuracy is just one of the many reasons why he can go by one name and be universally known around the baseball world.
