Hue Jackson is a Lunatic for Thinking Baker Mayfield Needs to Fix Their Relationship
By Sean Facey

The rift between former Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson and franchise quarterback Baker Mayfield is well-documented. The two have been on sour terms ever since his unceremonious departure midway through the 2018 campaign. His choice to join the division rival Bengals immediately after didn't help matters.
With all that being said, there's no doubt that Jackson is a downright lunatic for suggesting that it's up to Mayfield to mend their relationship

Then again, this is coming from the man who didn't view his 1-31 record through his first two seasons with the Browns as a failure and chose to make Tyrod Taylor his Week 1 starter over Mayfield. We shouldn't be surprised that he's outside of his mind right now when he pretty much always seems to be.
The blame rests squarely on Jackson's shoulders for the beef between him and the young quarterback. He showed absolutely no confidence in him despite the fact that the organization drafted him with the first-overall pick.

Jackson's the adult in this situation. if he wants to keep leveraging the fact that he's "been coaching in this league a long time," then he needs to act responsibly and try to smooth things over with Mayfield, regardless of whether or not he feels personally at fault for the situation.
Next step for Browns: Do so well this year and create a new identity so that this time next year we have no reason to discuss Hue Jackson at all.

If the two are ever going to make amends, it's going to have to start with Jackson.
The feud started because of him and it's going to have to end because of him. Otherwise, they're just going to keep blaming each other for the falling out.
