For weeks now, both NFL and golf fans had been waiting patiently for May 24 to arrive. That's because Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady were set to hit the links for a charity golf match today. This is the kind of live event that makes for must-see television in these times.

However, mother nature unfortunately may have other ideas. The match will be played at Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound and a quick look at the weather forecast makes it seems quite unlikely the four superstars will be able to get in a full round of golf on Sunday.

Of all days, this is when a storm needs to make its way to the area? Floridians are all too familiar with wild rains resulting in baseball games being postponed this time of the year, but we've all been ready for 'The Match 2' to get underway.

With Woods and Manning teaming up against TB12 up and Mickelson, it was bound to be an exciting 18 holes of action. At this point, it's up in the air if we'll even see anyone tee off today, especially with things set to start at 3 p.m. ET.

That Brady clip alone makes today's potential rain delay all the more depressing. Thanks a lot, 2020.
