VIDEO: High School Player Runs Wrong Way After Interception and Gets Tackled by Teammate
By Michael Luciano

If this particular division of high school football has any sort of "best teammate" award, California's Kha'ron Thrower has to be the runaway winner. Thrower's Fairfield High School teammate made a great play to intercept a pass, but almost ran into the wrong end zone. He was saved by Thrower wrestling him to the ground in the nick of time.

Jim Marshall, eat your heart out.
This play is hauntingly reminiscent of when the Minnesota Vikings defensive end picked up a fumble against the San Francisco 49ers, but ran 60 yards the wrong way, flipping the ball out of the end zone when he reached paydirt.
In 1964, Jim Marshall of the Vikings recovered a @49ers fumble, and literally ran 60 yards the wrong way. ?♂️#SFvsMIN pic.twitter.com/gvOB3Y8KFa

At least Thrower was able to corral his teammate before he made it to the end zone.
This kid is probably going to be in for a rough Monday morning at school. Still, Marshall had a Hall of Fame-worthy career, so these blunders can happen to the best players in the world.
Better days are ahead for this player and this team.
