Here's What Chiefs Should Pay Tyreek Hill After Michael Thomas Contract

When Michael Thomas signed his massive $100 million deal with the New Orleans Saints, phones undoubtedly started going off with NFL stars contacting their agents.
If Thomas can get that kind of money, others out there will surely be looking for it as well. And one player in particular who's hoping to land a lot of dough is Kansas City Chiefs star Tyreek Hill. So, following the Thomas news, how much should KC end up feeding him?
Spotted today at Chiefs’ training camp in St Joseph, Mo., was agent Drew Rosenhaus. He is there to discuss a new deal for Chiefs’ WR Tyreek Hill, per source.

Right now, giving Hill a two-year contract worth $35-40 million appears to make the most sense. It'd put him near the same annual pay with Thomas, giving him that "No. 1 receiver" kind of money.
The two-year deal would also be a bit of a safe play for Kansas City. We can't deny the amount of talent Hill has. Hell, no one can. It's his off-the-field troubles that should have KC reluctant to sign him to an even bigger deal.
Tyreek Hill on allegation of punching his 3yo son in the chest: “that would probably refer to me teaching my son how to box.” If NFL is buying that one (and it apparently is) then the personal conduct policy really needs to go. https://t.co/waw27k4tRA

Yeah, that explanation is something. Last season, Hill finished fourth in the NFL in both receiving yards (1,479) and receiving touchdowns (12). That production should be rewarded.
At the same time, he provides a bit of a risk because of his behavior away from the team. Two years and $40 million seems more than fair. Get to work, Drew Rosenhaus.
