Here's How Yankees Can Trade for Trevor Bauer

The Cleveland Indians have done nothing but spin their wheels this year. With a 39-34 record, they're nine games out of first place, and their championship window is practically shut.

They've got plenty of pieces to sell at the deadline that could garner them a nice prospect haul, chief among them being Trevor Bauer. The Yankees have had him on their radar for a while now, and they've got the pieces to go get him.

The Indians are in dire need of help in the outfield. Luckily, the Yankees just so happen to have a rising star that they have no room for in Clint Frazier. A reunion between Frazier and the Tribe would likely headline any trade package.

To offset the loss of Bauer, starter Jonathan Loaisiga, New York's second overall prospect, could also head to Cleveland.

Adding in right-hander Clarke Schmidt as another arm to help replenish Cleveland's lack of pitching depth in the farm system would help seal the deal.

In sum, the Indians would receive a package that includes a healthy mix of MLB-ready talent and prospect arms with upside in Frazier, Loaisiga and Schmidt in exchange for Bauer.

Cleveland gets a jump-start on their rebuild and the Yankees get the starter they need to help anchor the rotation. This could easily go down.
