Gymnast McKayla Maroney Fires Off 1st Tweet in Over a Year and Still Looks Great

McKayla Maroney was once a prevalent persona on social media, especially Twitter. As we know, however, the gold medal-winning Olympic gymnast has endured a prolonged sabbatical from tweeting.

However, her extended recess ended on Thursday, and in case you were wondering, she still appears to be in top shape.

The caption, which reads, "I don’t ever think twice when it feels right,” doesn't necessarily coincide with the picture, but we aren't at all complaining about the lack of correlation.

To nobody's surprise, Maroney's post produced big-time numbers, as it received over 8,000 likes and some 350 retweets. And her followers were loving her return.

Nothing like a little Ron Swanson to welcome the queen's triumphant homecoming.

Some of the gold medalist's stans took the opportunity to convey the simple message that they love and want more of her.
