Giants Rule Out Sterling Shepard For MNF Against Cowboys With A Concussion
By Sean Facey

The New York Giants thought they'd have help in the passing game again on Monday, but unfortunately that won't be the case.
Wide receiver Sterling Shepard has been ruled out for the team's showdown against the Dallas Cowboys and has been placed back in concussion protocol after he woke up with concussion-like symptoms on Sunday.
#Giants have ruled out WR Sterling Shepard for tomorrow vs #Cowboys. He’s back in the concussion protocol. Had symptoms again this morning.

The 26-year-old hasn't suited up for Big Blue since Week 5, leaving rookie quarterback Daniel Jones with one less reliable option in the passing game to work with.
It's unfortunate news considering that it looked like he was in the clear earlier in the week. It had even been announced that he had cleared concussion protocol on Friday.
WR Sterling Shepard has cleared concussion protocol and is set to return Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys. Would be first time Shepard, Saquon Barkley, Golden Tate and Evan Engram on field together in a game with Daniel Jones at QB.

Shepard has been a major factor on offense prior to the injury, hauling in 25 receptions for 267 yards and a touchdown.
It'll be up to veteran Golden Tate and young tight end Evan Engram to continue carrying the load through the air as the Giants try to improve to 3-6 on the year. That task, which comes against a stout defensive secondary from Dallas, will be significantly more difficult without Shepard.

Golden Tate enters WR2 conversation in PPR leagues. Start him over Sutton, OBJ, Keenan #AskFFT
Hopefully he can continue to work his way back to full strength so he can make his way back onto the field sooner rather than later.
