Harsh Weather Including Wind Expected to Impact Patriots-Giants Game
By Jerry Trotta

As if the New York Giants needed any other narratives working against their impending Week 6 matchup on Thursday night versus the New England Patriots, right?
The game will be played in Foxborough at Gillette Stadium, and local forecasts suggest that the weather is going to be straight up terrible.
Cycles of heavy rain are expected to feature throughout the clash and wind gusts could range between 30-40 MPH.
Weather will be a factor in #NYGvsNE this Thursday - northeast winds may gust past 30-40 mph and periods of rain are likely throughout the evening. @GilletteStadium is roughly north-south oriented, so this will introduce a crosswind which loosely favors the southern endzone #mawx pic.twitter.com/Hmr3sTKqP9

Yikes.
And that sound you hear is virtually every Giants devotee quivering in sheer fear. The Patriots have flaunted the league's best defense through the first five weeks of the 2019 season, and they're about to feast on a rookie quarterback in Daniel Jones who has yet to brave the harsh weather conditions of an NFL game.
In fact, Danny Dimes' first three games were in sunny Tampa Bay and within the confines of a friendly MetLife Stadium. The Duke product will be in for a rude awakening on Thursday.

Keep an eye on the status of Saquon Barkley (ankle) in the coming days. This weather calls for some old school running of the football between the tackles and the Pro Bowler's availability could prove crucial for DJ and the G-Men.
As for the Patriots, we aren't concerned, and why would we be? For starters, they're 5-0, but more importantly, Tom Brady and Co. are more than used to the tumultuous elements that the climate in Boston can product this late in the year.
This is what football is all about, folks.
