Gerrit Cole has another rough start for the Yankees

What in the heck is going on with Gerrit Cole? When he's at the top of his game, the hard-throwing righty is without question one of the best starting pitchers in all of baseball.
However, he's really looked rough in his last two starts. On Sunday, he lasted only 3.1 innings against the Mets, giving up six hits and four earned runs.
Gerrit Cole exits to boos here at Yankee Stadium. The Mets knock him out after just 3.1 IP. Bases still loaded, Mets down 4-3 now.

In his last two showings, Cole has given up nine earned runs. That's simply not going to cut it for Aaron Boone and this team. He needs to wake up and fast, otherwise fans will surely turn on him.
