There's just something about German phonetics and language that makes listening to its native speakers so incredibly satisfying -- especially when you discover a German broadcast's call on Matt Ryan getting stiff-armed into oblivion on Thanksgiving against New Orleans. Watch for yourself again and again.

At one point, the German broadcasters aren't even saying words. In fact, their laughs and giggles right as Ryan gets smashed by Shy Tuttle speak even louder than any manner of wordsmithing they could possibly convey to express their emotions.

Apparently, one of the commentators is ex-NFL defensive end Bjoern Werner, who was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Today, he serves as a commentator and analyst for NFL games on German television, and he's doing a fantastic job as evidenced by this call.

Hopefully a light can be shined on more of these German NFL broadcast calls; that's a compilation video screaming to be posted on YouTube.
