VIDEO: Gerald Meerschaert Delivers Immediate Low Blow Kick to Deron Winn's Groin at UFC 248

The most painful moment at UFC 248 has already been decided, and it features neither Yoel Romero nor Israel Adesanya. Deron Winn was going about his business against Gerald Meerschaert when an errant left leg kick from the grizzled veteran caught Winn right in the worst possible area.

I apologize to any male readers who saw that and just winced in agony. Against all odds, Winn was able to continue the fight. Win or lose, no one can question Winn's toughness if he stayed in after THAT kick.

Unfortunately, though Winn bounced back with some hard strikes that had his opponent doing a self-described "chicken dance," Meerschaert ultimately found prime positioning on the ground and locked in a rear naked choke, forcing Winn to tap.

In a certain respect, this one featured end to end action. But forgive us for feeling a bit weak in the knees for exactlly the wrong reasons.
