It hasn't exactly been a typical dominant season fans have come to expect from Kirby Smart's Georgia Bulldogs. Now they'll face their toughest test of the year against the rival Florida Gators.

Georgia is 6-1, but it sure doesn't feel like that. This team has been struggling on offense, as evidenced in their embarrassing home loss to South Carolina and narrow win over Notre Dame. Let's also not forget the game against Kentucky was a lot closer and uglier than fans thought it would be.

But Bulldogs QB Jake Fromm can erase all of these bad memories (and his career-worst performance against the Gamecocks) for the time being by taking advantage of Florida's secondary on Saturday.

The good news is that Fromm is 2-0 against Florida during his collegiate career, including a dominant performance last year.

The Gators defense, especially this time around, won't be easy to get by. They're 7-1 on the year with their only loss coming in a close one on the road against LSU. They stifled Auburn in Gainesville and handled South Carolina in Columbia in their latest win.

While the offense has taken big steps forward, it's the defense that's kept them in every game. The run stopping, the pass rush, the ball-hawking, and the sure tackles have defined the Gators, which will once again be key against Fromm.

But Florida's defense was exposed against LSU. Give a QB like Fromm time, and he'll take advantage of the secondary. Connect on a few deep balls and the game is turned on its head. Fromm has the ability to extend plays with his legs too, which will help break down the defense and keep drives alive.

It's all up to Fromm today. He's a leader and an experienced QB ready for a highly-anticipated top-10 rivalry game, so he has a prime chance to bring Georgia back into the conversation with a convincing win over the Gators today.
