Major news broke out of Athens on Wednesday, as star quarterback Jake Fromm announced he'll be leaving school early and will head to the NFL. While this is a big blow for Kirby Smart, the staff should waste no time in going after a grad transfer quarterback to keep this team in contention for an SEC title next year. Here are three names that quickly come to mind.

3. Boston College Transfer Anthony Brown

Brown is one of the more intriguing quarterbacks out on the market right now. A three-year contributor at Boston College, it was announced last month he'd be leaving BC as a grad transfer. Due to injury, he was only able to appear in six games this year, tossing nine touchdowns and two interceptions. In 12 games in 2018, the New Jersey native for more than 2,100 yards and 20 touchdowns.

2. Former Florida QB Feleipe Franks

Just like Brown, Feleipe Franks' 2019 campaign was cut short due to a season-ending injury. In December, he announced he was leaving the program in hopes of finding a new home. Could Georgia be the place for him? Franks threw for 2,457 yards and 24 touchdowns in 13 games in 2018, while adding 350 yards rushing and seven more scores.

1. Former Wake Forest QB Jamie Newman

There's perhaps no other QB out there with more hype around him than Jamie Newman. A former Wake Forest starter, Newman reportedly is high on the Oregon Ducks, who have emerged as a favorite to land him. However, with the Bulldogs now in need of a new starting signal caller, a phone call from Kirby Smart could change things. Last year, Newman tossed for 2,868 yards and 26 touchdowns.
