Georgia Hires Former Ole Miss Head Coach Matt Luke as New OL Coach

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are always going to be stud recruiters. However, it's not just high school and junior college prospects they're going to attract.
Yup, whenever a position opens up on Smart's staff, you better believe people are going to be lining up to try and land the job. For former Ole Miss head coach Matt Luke, who was recently fired by the Rebels, the move to Athens surely was an easy call.
Get excited, Bulldogs fans. Luke is headed to UGA to be the team's new offensive line coach.

While this move had been speculated over the past 24 hours, Georgia went ahead and made things official with its team announcement. Luke heads to UGA to replace former OL coach Sam Pittman, who was just hired as the new head coach at Arkansas.
Sure, Luke must have been down in the dumps about losing his job at Ole Miss, but landing with the Bulldogs, a threat to win the SEC every season, will likely keep his spirits high.

With the Early Signing Period set to start on Dec. 18, Luke will hit the ground running and try to help his new team land some top recruits. For Smart, this is a great hire, as Luke's coaching experience is nothing short of impressive.
