How Georgia Can Still Make the College Football Playoff
By Parker White

The Georgia Bulldogs entered Saturday as the third-ranked team in the country, and if they continued their winning ways they would assuredly be in the College Football Playoff.
But then they lost at home in double-overtime to South Carolina.

Reaching the CFP seems like a pipe dream at the moment, but when you think about it, the Bulldogs still have a chance of competing for a National Championship.
Put simply, they need to win out.
IF ... giant if with the way it’s playing ... Georgia beats Florida, at Auburn, Texas A&M, and beats LSU/Bama in the SEC Championship, it’s in. This obviously takes out the idea of 12-0 team losing in SEC title game and getting in.

Obviously, with ranked opponents like Florida, Auburn and Texas A&M on the schedule, it's easier said than done, but this Georgia team was ranked high for a reason. They can go on run, led by quarterback Jake Fromm, and win out to reach the SEC title game.
From there, if they win the SEC title game, they'll surely make the playoff, especially since their opponent will likely be an undefeated Alabama.
A loss to South Carolina is only a roadblock, and despite a likely fall in the rankings come the next AP Poll, Georgia fans should keep faith in Kirby Smart.
