Over the past half-decade, Steph Curry and the Warriors got used to winning a lot of games. In a season filled with turnover and injuries to stars, Golden State had a tough time recreating the magic that made it special for so long.

After the 2020 season, the Dubs have a chance to re-group and build another championship team around Curry. Here are a few guys that could join forces with Steph out in the Bay Area.

3. F Jae Crowder

One of the key needs the Warriors have yet to fill is finding another 3-and-D wingman. With the loss of Andre Iguodala, Golden State will need someone to fill that role of a player who can guard multiple positions and hit perimeter shots when called upon. Jae Crowder has done both since being traded to Miami. Hitting threes at a near 40% clip is a number that can help Golden State immediately.

2. F Gordon Hayward

With the departure of Kevin Durant to Brooklyn, Golden State has been in search of another scoring option to group with the Splash Brothers. Hayward is no Durant, but he can get a bucket off the bounce or off of spot-up opportunities, facilitate, and guard multiple positions. This skill set fits Golden State’s need on the wing. The catch with Hayward is that he has a close to $32 million player option with Boston, so he might not want to decline that. Unless, of course, a more promising situation presents itself with another lucrative long-term deal.

1. PF/C Montrezl Harrell

If it wasn’t for Clippers running mate Lou Williams, Harrell probably would have had a Sixth Man of the Year award by now. Harrell will be a free agent this summer and Golden State has a need at center. While Harrell is a bit undersized, head coach Steve Kerr has made his living running a small-ball system. Harrell’s defensive prowess, rebounding ability, and scoring would be a perfect inside-outside complement to Curry.
