Frank Clark Ranks Jimmy Garoppolo as Top-10 NFL QB Despite Super Bowl Woes

Frank Clark has been very vocal about his opinions as of late, even going as far as to criticize Titans running back Derrick Henry for his play style. However, despite running his mouth in just about every direction recently, Clark surprisingly had some praise for his Super Bowl 53 opponent, Jimmy Garoppolo.
Clark believes that the 28-year-old quarterback ranks among the top 10 gunslingers in the NFL, despite not being able to close out the biggest game of his career.

Immediately after the Super Bowl, Clark was less cordial with his comments towards Garoppolo. Clark criticized the QB's performance at the end of game, especially considering the gargantuan contract he signed in San Francisco.

However, after cooling down from the adrenaline of winning a Super Bowl, Clark showcased he does have respect for Garoppolo as a competitor. He noted that Jimmy G is not yet a top five quarterback, but declared him to be in the top 10.
Garoppolo's playoff run with the Niners drew criticism from many fans across the league, as the team leaned heavily upon the run game. Still, despite that, Clark spoke highly of his opponent.
