FOX Announces Time Slot for Ohio State vs Penn State and Fans Should Be Infuriated
By Michael Luciano

College football has dropped the ball once again. Not only will LSU-Alabama be played this wekend 3:30 as opposed to a primetime slot, but now Ohio State-Penn State, November 23rd's mega-matchup, is also going to miss out on a coveted 7 or 8 p.m. ET slot.
The No. 1 Buckeyes and No. 4 Nittany Lions won't do battle under the bright lights of Ohio Stadium. Instead, they'll get a noon ET kickoff.
JUST IN: Penn State football's clash against Ohio State will kick off at noon on November 23.

You couldn't arrange a worse start time for one of the biggest games of the season if you tried.
While this won't take any of the juice out of a matchup between two of the five best teams in the country, as Heisman contenders will still be littering the field regardless, it's a perfect example of just how profoundly television networks can mess things up for fans. Who wants No. 1 versus No. 4 at noon?
They'll have to start tailgating in Columbus before sunrise.
That sucks. I would have thought a 3:30 game at least.

For the more optimistic among you, this means that Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt will likely be on the call, and those guys are probably a superior team as compared to Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit in the way of pure excitement.
Always look on the bright side of life, Big Ten fans.
